Things I learned working on my Vette - #12
I put some LARGE sheets of cardboard under the car to catch dirt and minor spills leading up to me pulling the engine. Cleared out tools, put jack stand under car, removed front left wheel to give hoist room and slid hoist under car.
Once you've got the weight of the motor on the hoist wheels, they REALLY dig into the cardboard making it damn near impossible to roll the hoist out from under the car!!!
