Default Help pricing a 1974 Roadster for sale.

I aquired a 1974 Roadster a few years ago and I am thinking of selling it. I am not sure where to start with pricing. Here are some details.
1974 Vert, # matching 454, 4 speed, power steering and brakes, shoulder belts, map light, AC, power winows, luggage rack. White with Tan top and interior. Car was restored a few years ago. Shows 79,000. Very nice paint and pretty chromed up. Car is super nice underneath. Everything clean and chromes as well. Comes with a fully built and ready 454 with McJack headers that the owner was going to install, but changed mind. Any help is appreciated.

a big block, 4 speed convertible in good shape. Not sure of the value, but it's a desirable car.

Too bad the engine compartment isn't all original, but it doesn't look like it would take much to bring it back.

I would guess that you should get $17k for the car and another $2 or 3k for the motor. I think you'll do better selling them separately.

PM Mayberg. He collects VINs for 74's! Tell you what.... I'll swap my 74 convertible L48 TH-400 for it.

Sharp-looking car........if it were mine.....it wouldn't be for sale!

(But.....you have to do what you have to do.....or do you?)

.. a fully loaded A/C Last of the big block 4-speed convertibles matching numbers ( I presume that means original motor) will sell for at least 30K if you are describing the condition correctly. yes add 3K for the extra motor.

17K? I would be buying all the 74 big block convertibles I could put my hands on....

Nice car that I would think should be in the $25,000 plus range. I agree, though, about selling the other engine separately. Include it in a package deal and you will be giving it away.

Just a bit custom, isn't it?

$2 to $3k for a built big block? closer to $6000.

Really clean car. I'd guess $25,000 would be a good spot. Market is soft right now.

That's a really clean nice looking car. Around $25,000 would be close if it's as good as the photos.

I would be buying someone else's build.. with no warrantee.. I wouldn't pay more than 3K.. it's a used engine..

IMHO
