Default How to locate original selling dealer

Are there any websites or data available that can tell who the original selling dealership sold an early C3?

I'm trying to piece together my cars history but I've run into a dead end going back to the early 80's.

Would love to at least know it's original origin after it left St. Louis.

The NCRS offers that service for a fee. https://www.ncrs.org/services.php

If you belong to the NCRS, they having the GM Shipping Data Reports, for most Corvettes built between mid 1962, and the end of 75. The report contains info on the GM Zone and Dealer, that the car was sold to. It costs $35 to join the NCRS, and it's $40 for the Shipping Data Report.
