Default Rear speaker wires

What is the best way to route new speaker wires from the dash to the rear area of an '81 ? Through the console, under the carpet and along the sill plate or ?????? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You want to keep your speaker wires away from power wires as much as possible. I used the door sill area for mine.

Factory routing for the optional rear speakers was under the console to the rear, over to the rear wiring harness, with the harness over the wheel house, then behind the rear wall carpet to each speaker location.
