May I ask the year of your Vette? Your picture doesn't show a pictures of the *** so I can't tell if there is a back bumper.

Had not considered pin striping, might not be a bad look. It's still pretty new to me, have only had it about a month or so.

Ok, so where does "Silver-Beige" fit in?

Depending on the shade of brown, I would suggest a silver or maybe an orange. If it's a dark brown, it's really tough to match it to a color that doesn't throw it off.

The first one he bought had been driven into a bayou. but it was only 4 years old at the time, so it wasn't totaled. I don't have any newer pics, but some of the engine bay is apart, as well as the interior. Here are some pics of it, circa 1986.

Default Corvette Bronze Code 992 in 1968

3,374 Vettes were painted Corvette Bronze Code 992 in 1968.
How many do you see these days, but Corvette Bronze was the fourth most popular color in 1968.
A fun fact ... In that year Corvette Bronze was a special order color for the 1968 Camaro under Code 0

Saw this one at Bloomington Gold this year for the Goldyear (1968).

There were a couple more in the building on display.

I've owned this '68 since May 1970. Repainted Corvette Bronze in 1997 otherwise essentially all original.
