Info on Shafi Keisler RS600
I have recently installed a GM ZZ502 crate motor with a Shafi Keisler supplied RS600. The drive shaft has been rubbing the passenger side tunnel. Not sure how to resolve the issue, I contacted Shafi Keisler who got back promptly to me and instructed me on how to correct the problem. I just wanted to post that Shafi Keisler is still avaliable to his customers and willing to help in any way.

Hello!
Fix is as follows:
Actually I received two schools of thought regarding this problem. One answer came from a well known online drive-line conversion specialist. Their advice was to raise the driver side and passenger side floor pans and install hockey pucks on top of the cross member to suspended the floor pans above the impacted area.
The Shafi Keisler response to the problem was to loosen the rear transmission mounting bolts and pull the rear of the transmission towards the drive side using a motorcycle tie down or some type of ratcheting device. Just enough to alleviate the affected area. Remember you are not going to go bat s$%t crazy, just enough to stop the chaffing from the universal joint on the passenger side of the tunnel.
I will let you know how this works out as I plan to correct this problem Saturday as well as work some more on my vintage air installation. I will continue to post pics as my project progresses.
Regards-
Keith
