Default One piece transparent roof?

Hi All,

Ebay and a few retailers sell a transparent 1 piece roof for the C3's. It supposedly goes right over the T-top bar. Just wondering if anyone has one of these and what are their thoughts on it?

Thanks,
Sam

Ok, this is what I was wondering, basically is it any good. I read a few reviews that called it flimsy and cheaply made. Is there only the one company making it?

I have one that came with my car. it is flimsy and looks cheap. I will never use it. It has a few scratches and the seals are missing . Real glass tops are the move!

I have one on my car and it fits just as good as the t tops. It looks great. I had one on a 77 I had and bought one for my 80.

I believe there are 2 generations of the tops and the newer ones are supposedly a better design.

My 81 came with one... The smoked glass acrylic style... And seeing as how my actual t-tops need seals and adjustments... I just run the one piece top typically.. Mine does not leak, seals up fine, and I enjoy it being like a tinted sunroof... It stows behind the seats if I wanna cruise with it off and reinstalls in a minute or two... But, moving it in/out of the rear compartment it has developed a few 'scratches of blue'... Probly from the trim mouldings on the seats etc during removal...

For the hot summer days I also picked up a acrylic 'wind-jammer'... It's kind of like a 6" tall bug screen that bolts into the pillars in the front and deflects a LOT of wind out of the car while driving...

I don't have a perfect pic to show off the wind jammer... But you can see it in this pic...
