Default Pretty Good Corvette Movie Chase

Hey, this has probably been linked around here before, but for those who haven't seen it, I thought this was pretty neat. Shows how tough a Corvette can be. Notice at the end how it severs the Citation in half!

Happy watching!

Dang. Another sacrificial lamb offered up to the Hollywood movie gods.

Just like an old Timex too: takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'...

FWIW, I cringed most at two segments: exiting from the monster-truck-ish parking lot escape and when those pristine roof panels were about to receive a severe case of road-rash.

Hmmmm. Google says, "The Junkman holds the Guinness World Records for wrecking over 250 cars, trucks, motorcycles and Planes in one movie."

If you read more about it, the director used 200 of his own private collection cars in the movie. That somehow seems easier to swallow to me.

I loved the 2nd gen Z/28 cop car.

That's H.B. 'Toby' Halicki, he's the real deal when it comes to driving. He's the same guy who filmed and was killed in the original Gone in 60 Seconds. Not the Cage movie the original movie dude was a badass!

That was an awesome clip.
According to a quick search, Halicki didn't die in GI60seconds, as this movie came afterwards. I did a quick search of net flix and didn't find any of the three movies. Too bad.
For those of you that haven't seen the original gone in 60 seconds, you should look for it.

If you hate mustangs, don't watch it.

Interesting car. It has the wrong hood on it and it has a pre '80 crossmember with dual exhaust.
