Default Garage Update

Hi All,

I have been on the C3 forum for almost 6 years and have been longing for a newer ride for sometime. That time came last Thursday when I picked up a 2008 LT3. No worries, the C3 is staying.... she just has company now.

Thought I would share some pictures.

Sorry Brent, thanks for letting me know. Try it again and it should work.

Both are beautiful! I'm guessing blue is your favorite color.

You are living the dream, brother-man. Enjoy them each, for their benefits and thanks for posting.

I dare say: that's a match made in blue Corvette heaven.

Very handsome. Blue is an outstanding color on those cars.

Sweet, I am really glad you have the dual mode exhaust. If you want a louder exhaust note slightly, you can pull the fuse to it and it will leave the butterfly valves open so you can get more aggressive sounds without being "too aggressive".

I see a modern C3 in the C6. I mean look at the front fender bulges, they are very similar, and just look at the lines of the cars and they do have similar patterns and shapes that both have. They are each distinctively their own look, but I do see the genetics at work that show the C3 and C6 are related. I don't know if anyone else has the same opinion, but that is what I see.

I really appreciate you all, I am still in shock! When I got the 69 in 2008 we actually drove a new C6, but decided on the 69 and never dreamed of having a 2nd one. The part I enjoy about owning a Corvette is really the friends and fellowship that evolve around these cars.

BTW - the dual mode exhaust is great! I have the mild to wild kit as well which allows you to open the exhaust up with a key fob at will
