Didn't someone ask about what would be Corvette blasfamy? This would be a good answer. What a roach.:no nod: But I guess that besides the one who built it, There has to be another out there that will like it. Maybe?

Looks like an inflatable Corvette kiddie toy! I don't think even paint, or finishing it, would make it look any better.
I don't mind customs, restomods, etc (we deal with them, all the time at the shop), but I am of the opinion, that there are 'limit's to how far you can go, before it becomes 'over the top'. I've only seen a handful of vehicles that I liked, that were done 'over the top' and none of them are Corvettes!

Is that a glitch in the photo or is it really going to have 4 sets of headlights like the Family Truckster?

Even at $3,000, I would imagine that somebody would come look at it and walk away. I do not think that it would sell for anything over $2,000. The most hideous part about this mutant is the wing.

This Shark may have "Jumped the Shark"
To 'jump the shark' is the same as saying 'this once-good thing has now become absurd and dragged out' or 'this has crossed over into stupidity and uselessness'. This '75 may have "Jumped the SharK"....then again,it is unique and one of a kind!

Damnnit man how do I even start to defend this,
While I think terms like "too much" "over the top" are subject to ones personal tastes from a modded standpoint of a lover of custom this thing doesn't flow for me,
The 80/Daytona nose is all mucked up ( is that a Pontiac logo cut in the nose??? ) and with the rear so radically modded it still wears a stock hood?!?!?!
I never liked the tessarosa door ribs and leave c4 parts on c4's,
The rear wing......Fast and furious is calling....
Sadly the body work looks like it might be pretty darn good which makes it even worse in a way, hack jobs I don't feel bad about bashing....
It drifts into a typical CL ad, the seller offers a car needing all kinds of work to finish, we have no clue about the parts we can't see, but he will finish it for the buyer just not for himself, weird.
25K wo engine I will go out on a limb, even running, driving and painted this is one of those customs that while you will remember it for a long time, the market is gnat wing thin, it will take just the right person to like it and if he got 5K it would shock me,
and I just bet there is more than 5K in bondo alone......

This is a real nightmare to say the least.

As a personal statement from a car builders heart,if he built it finished it drove it and loved it Id think it was awesome. But to think anyone else would want it like that?
Id imagine it will end up spending a few years in his backyard, then we will see a pic of it with weeds growing out of it for 2k. Seen a few like that on the thread about crazy craigslisters.

All it needs is half of front springs cut, 18" rear bolts. Then drive it to let the pavement scrape away all of the extra glass...Aerodynamics would be perfect!

Cars like this were all the rage in the late 80s early nineties. Remember the flouresent colors that people were painting their cars in at that time too. Today you would have to be dressed like Bozo to drive something like this and get away with it.
