There is a little known, obscure rule in the fine print, hidden on page 73, paragraph 6 of sub-section 4.2.2
Any new member, who flakes out on their first cruise, has to fork their C3 over to the Ford club.

Hey Mark, if you're interested, maybe we could meet at the Camarillo Airport for breakfast before we hook up with the rest of the Yahoos
at the Park and Ride. I'm trying to get in touch with a couple more V.C. guys to make a showing also.Red (the only proper color for a C-3) 1977

I'm going to add a meeting point somewhere in the Woodland Hill's / Sherman Oak's area for the cruisers coming from point's South and East.
From this point we will cruise to the "Park & Ride in Camarillo and meet up with other cruisers.
Keep an eye on the beginning of this thread (page one) for the details.
BTW..... there is gas and eats at the park & ride
