Here's another "Looks great". Love the match between the interior and new paint. And--I really like the top fender louvers--that's just a beautiful detail!

I'm sorry to tell you this....

but, with an engine/compartment that look THAT GOOD , those valve covers really need to be CHROME and body color.

Well, that's my opinion, anyway.

Great looking work!!!

Guys, thanks very much for the compliments, they're greatly appreciated. learje, the engine is a 402 (out of a 70 Monte Carlo SS), punched .030. 10.5:1 comp hypereutectic pistons, balanced rotating assembly, a Comp Cams LS6 nostalgia plus cam and a mellimg high volume oil pump. The heads have 2.25 intake valves in them and have been ported and cc'd. I'm running a GM performance dual plenum intake and a highly modified E4ME quadrajet carb and a GM Performance HEI distributor. I had the machine work done but I put it together. The thing pulls like a freight train, I'm very happy with the performance.

Oh, 7T1vette.....I appreciate your opinion, and thanks, but.....nope. I really like these valve covers!

Thanks Hezzy, I did that color. It’s VHT Red Metallic engine paint (which is more like a salmon color than read), with Duplicolor Red Anodizing over it.

Quick Reply: It's painted!!
