I want to get the most hood clearance that I can, while keeping a somewhat stock appearance. The verbiage on this below add is unclear to me, does any know 1st hand if this is taller then a stock l-88 hood.

I called Eckler's and the rep I got used words like "I want to say it is", "it should be" and "I think it is".
