As always, it is his car and it looks like a lot of work and craftsmanship went into his vision, but it's not what I would have done....

It reminds me of a '71 mach 1 Mustang that an old friend owned. He took it to a shop and had it repainted in the OE candy red color, then had flames sprayed on the front end. The craftsmanship on the job was absolutely 1st class, and the car did indeed look beautiful....BUT it just wasn't my cup of tea.

Wasn't that car in a thread on here a while back during its construction?

Accomplishment.
He succeeded in accomplishing what apparently he set out to do..create an attention getter, something different, and unique.

Personally, I feel a waste of a good car, good engine, and good dollars.

The supercharged 4-cam V-8 is the least offensive part of that car.

Beautiful...artistic vision! Looks like he took the best of several worlds and combined them into a vision to behold. Good job! As far as the comment that it is a waste of money...it is only money, why not spend it on a vision?

First off,i would not do it,but theres really nothing wrong with his build. At least he used a american engine and not a chinese engine I think theres no difference then the people that put in ls engines, yes its GM but it really doesnt belong there, its not what came in it.would it be better if it were a pontiac motor 455,? GM made it,you see theres no difference.LS engines, ford, dodge, etc.

I agree with everyone here. It is, what it is.

If I had that kind of time, talent and money to start a conversation, I think I would've gotten into politics instead. Same result as the man's car is getting: either you support it or you don't.

Not much in between.

Oh and FWIW: I would really have wanted to put that effort into something I've never done. Build a NCRS car and compare with guys like Alan, et al.

I like the doors, cool.
Nobody likes it ? I bet the local body-shop, interior-shop and auto-parts welcome him and his money.

Just saying.
I would drive it.

There are tons of Cobra kit cars out there with smallblock Chevys in them, and the Ford guys consider those sacreligeous. At the end of the day it's his car and he's free to do what he wants with it. Truth be told, that four-cam Ford is the only commonly-available domestic DOHC V8 out there right now, so once you get over the FoMoCo stigma it's a pretty neat choice for power IMO...

The thing that amazes me is the amount of work that it took to do that...one has to question his sense of taste. Suicide doors on a Corvette? Seriously??
