Default Took the 69 for a drive last night...

And put the hardtop on while I had it out. Felt good to take it out and run it through the gears for a few hours.

That 69' looks great. I really appreciate and like the Yellow C3's, I'm just not sure I could walk into the garage each day and see a yellow Corvette though.

Do you put anything on the back deck to prevent the weatherstrip from damaging the paint? Does anyone? Is it necessary? I bought some pre-cut film from a catalog. It was kept in place by static. Would only stay in place if the top was on it and was a pain to get in the correct location. Thinking about covering the whole rear deck with clear 3m film, $50 on ebay, but won't do that if those who use their tops often don't see it as a problem. GREAT looking car, by the way.
