1981 Corvette 350 Engine oil
Hi all,
I have a 1981 Corvette Coupe with a, I believe original, 350 engine. It has 127K on it and I am currently using 5W-30 conventional. I am considering switching to Valvoline Maxlife 5W-30 with a Purolator filter.
Any thoughts? Would greatly appreciate any help! Thanks all.

The bottom line is:
Todays [conventional] oils are far better than any [conventional] oil previously produced.
So, that being said, you want the best filter possible.
Much data supports WIX filters as being superior.
Now, there will be a lot of Xperts telling you this and that but:
Your better off spending the $$ on the filter.
Do yourself a favor.
Stop listening and research yourself.
Check out Consumer Reports on conventional oils and filters.

"Key is clean oil"
What keeps oil clean?
