I saw what was very few deals and most cars seemed to have pre-Obama pricing on them. I was there Thurs-Sat 4pm and I only saw 5-7 cars at the most that even sold. There were probably a couple more that I didn't see.
There was a 1970 LT-1/ZR-1 for sale at $135K. Bronze or Maroon, one of one, no smog, Hooker chrome side exhaust.
Nice Bright Yellow '71-'72 LT-1 coupe, nice no smog, $25K.
Two nice Silver '69 427/435 coupes, one had judging paperwork, both near $59.9K.
Couple nice Medium Blue '70-'72 roadsters $20K-$33K.
Five to seven '70-'72 Coupes, base motor/trans cars, some with A/C, $15.5K-$27K.
Black/Black '68 427/400 auto roadster, $38K.
a few cars that I noticed that sold were a Brown L-82 '79 with 28K miles, seemed very original, asking $18.9K.
'74 L-82 White w/Silver leather roadster $14.5K, not bad, needed minor cosmetics, detailing.
Saw several very nice '70-'72 LT-1s for $33K and up. Same with a couple of 454 cars.
like I said, to me, anyways, didn't seem like that many cars sold.

I was there Saturday until 4 p.m.. I didn't see as many c3's as in previous years. Although I was not looking to buy one, so my focus was just on the number of cars there. I do remember a 1974 big block that was restored for sale from a vendor for $49,000. I thought that was outrageous. Maybe I'm out of line, if I am then I'm much better off with my car than I thought I was.

I did notice some of the parts were still priced in the pre-O range. Funny but you see some of the same stuff every year. Wonder why they keep hauling them there.

wish I knew you guys were up here. Would have liked to touch base. Yes, Larry bought the 74 vert pictured above. We now have to drive it back to St Louis Wednesday. Donnie, make ready the trailer in case we have an adventure. Paybacks are tough lol.

. Red 327/350hp coupe with Saddle interior that sold last year was there again for sale, just as nice as it was last year.
There was a beautiful Bright Yellow '73 454 4spd w/AC roadster for $34.9K. Very, very stunning.
Also saw an Elkart Green '72 LT-1(forgot price)that I swear was there last year. Also very nice.

I'd a love to have met you pal. I still have the 68 Diverter! My pride and Joy(kinda weird to get excited over a smog part, I know)
Next year? I'll bring the beer!

That Mulsanne Blue LT-1 was my favorite car there hands down. I realized on the drive home Friday night that I had inquired about it in early July when he had it on Ebay. It was just a crisp, nice car all around. That yellow '74 454 roadster was my second favorite c3. There was a nice bright orange '73 L82 auto coupe with luggage rack for $13500. I thought that was a really nice car for the money too.

I envisioned how the phone call would have gone...."Honey, how much do you love me?' A lot... Great, Well...etc yada yada Blue LT-1 coming home......click"

Thanks for the pictures of the cars in the For Sale section for those of us that couldn't make it.
Carlisle is an interesting place to try and sell a Corvette over the weekend. On one hand, you might have someone walking thru looking for that "one special" Corvette that they have always been looking for and they are willing to pay the premium for it. Then you have the majority of everyone there that knows what they are looking at, start picking the cars apart and making a mental list of things that the vehicle will need and start marking the price down in their heads.
Would be interested in seeing more photos, prices, and if it is known whether the Corvettes sold or not.
Hope everyone gets home safely and had a great weekend!

The blue '70 LT-1 was nice, and nicely priced. It had a CE block in it, therefore the lower price. Talked to the guy for a while. I think he would've gone lower.

I must retract the above statement. The blue '70 LT-1 DID NOT have a replacement block. It had been rebuilt to LT-1 spec but had a roller cam.
There was another car nearby, I think a '68 Maroon that had a CE block.
After a while Carlisle becomes a blur, especially for a first-timer.
Please forgive my confusion.

The blue car did seem to be fairly nice. It was gone before I had the chance to snap a pic.? The ZR 1 to me wasn't worth wasting a picture on........... (front clip replaced, +++).
You can barely see it behind the blue 72 under the roof, but very dark.

Was that a '69 350 convertible priced at $41,000? Thanks, but I think I'll take the '70 with the (apparently 1 of 1) "factory side pipes" at $25,000... The yellow ['70?] coupe at $16k though doesn't look like too bad a deal. Must have had issues?
