You look happy! Hard to choose which of the two look better - you or the Vette. Congrats and enjoy. Thanks for the pics. I guess I'm next.

is it just me, or is the left rear tire too far forward?

Looks good! Glad to see it finally made it home.

From your other thread- a radiator flush is no big deal. I like to remove the thermostat and flush it thru one of the heater hoses- put the thermostat housing back on, disconnect both heater hoses and hook the garden hose to one that runs into the water pump. Turn the hose on and let it run. There are several ways to flush one, but that's the one I like. No chemicals that might find a thin spot in a freeze plug. But that could be a good thing too. Depends on your point of view.

Default 79

That's a really good looking car. The factory spoilers on a 79 really make a difference. I hope you enjoy it.

Glad you got it home after your overheating/cooling system problems on the road. The car looks great and you look happy with your new Corvette

Looks like the car has been taken really good care of. Who knows, you might have some more minor issues but again, it looks as if someone cared about it. Clean and a good color combo. By the way, you look really nice wrapped in a C3.
Good Luck.

A very nice car. Congratulations! I enjoyed a 1979 for 17 years. They are wonderful cars.

*Edit* - Be careful with those glass tops. They are fragile. And expensive.

Nice Corvette! Enjoy the ride.

I'm not a Mustang guy at all but I love that Grabber Blue.

I made a comment on that earlier in another thread. The seat covers look in VERY nice condition. And you can't get those houndstooth replacements any more: everything has gone vinyl or leather. This pretty lady has found a jewel despite a few false starts.

Thanks guys, the seats are in great shape. A small tear on drivers side right where you would expect it. We have an upholstery guy in the next town over, I'll see what he can do without him doing too much to it. The PO told me the t-tops are heavy and about $750.00 apeice, so believe me, I'll be careful. Thats alot of money for glass. 3Jsvette, my husband will be happy that someone liked his car. He told some friends that he used to have one of the coolest cars in town, now he doesn't even have the coolest car in the garage! ha! bout damn time!

I meant the area between the tires and the car?
