Default Wasting good parts?

I have a 72 vette, bought a 68 wiper door and a new old stock chrome license plate bezel genuine gm parts.

I'm not doing NCRS, should I not install these pieces and just save/sell them?

I don't much care about NCRS either but I do prefer NOS parts when I can get them as they are typically better quality than aftermarket. If you can get big bucks forthe parts especially 68 one year only parts, I say go for it. Otherwise, use them and enjoy them.

I wouldn't be too concerned about using the bezel, since they're still available from Chevrolet, or at least they were a few months ago. The price was pretty stiff though, at around $230.

As far as the wiper door, 68's were slightly different, than the 69-72 doors. It will work on your 72, and most people will never know the difference.

Why did you buy a '68 wiper door? Is yours damaged?
