Default Lights... :-/

Hey,

Seems the lights for just my instruments e.g oil, water temp etc seem to work sometimes and others not. I have read about trying to take just this pannel out and hearing its a pain. As they sometimes work and sometimes dont, is this some grounding issue i could maybe rectify without having to take the centre dash out.

Also anyone know what bulb is need for the drivers side footwell light and where this connection is?

Thanks all

What model year? There is no separate ground to the center cluster on the 68-76 cars.

On again/off again is a classic exmaple of the rheostat beginning to fail in the headlight switch. When they work, can you dim up and dim down the IP lights?

Your owner's manual will list the bulb for the footwell. It's likely to be the same for the passenger's side. The socket and holder are usually attached to one of the trim panel screws on the at the top of the kick panel.
