Default EZlift

My question is simple, has anyone used a EZlift and how does it work?

I saw the video but I was wondering if it will work with a c3 as I don't know the lifting points, plus it's pretty expensive. ($1995)

For not much more I would opt for a good N Am made 2 post lift or depending on needs a 4 post lift.

lot of money for 4 jack stands... spend another 600 bucks and get a 4 post lift.

I have one and it works great. The advantage over a traditional two/four post lift is that when it's not in use you can stack it against the wall out of the way. You also don't have to drill holes into your garage floor or pour additional concrete if your existing floor is too thin for a traditional lift. My garage is a suspended slab over my basement, so it would have been a pin to install a traditional lift. I've attached some pics of my 77 vette up on the lift.

That's what I liked when I saw them on youtube, the fact that you can hang them on the wall. Did you add the blocks and jack stands as extra support?

Yes, I added the jack stands as a safety measure. The EZlift doesn't have safety stops like a traditional lift, so I use the jack stands just in case. I'm older, wiser and far more paranoid than when I was 20(:

The wooden blocks are spacers so the center bar of the EZlift doesn't hit my exhaust. I have long tube headers and true duals which hang a bit lower than stock.

BTW, i watched Craigslist and picked this one up used for $1000 with the optional wheel attachments that let you move the car around while it's on the lift.
