NASCAR Trucks meet Paragon Corvette
I thought this might be of some interest to the Corvette Forum community, especially those that follow auto racing.
Most of the people in the Corvette hobby, are familiar with Paragon Corvette parts. Well this weekend, Erik Jones, the 16 year old son of Dave Jones, one of the owners of Paragon, will be making his NASCAR debut! Erik will be driving Kyle Busch's #51 Toyota Tundra, in the Camping World Truck Series race, at Virginia's Martinsville Speedway.
This is the first of 5 truck races that he'll be running in 2013, for Kyle Busch Motorsports. He'll also be running 3 ARCA races, as well as a regular schedule of Late Model Stock Car events.
Erik competed in 10 ARCA races last year, scoring 4 top 5's. He also won the 2012 Pensacola Snow Ball Derby, in December. The Snow Ball Derby is the Daytona 500 of the Late Model Stock world. He raced Kyle Busch for the last 15 laps of the race, and beat him for the win!

Hi GB,
When I was 16 I was still a year away from driving age and glad to have a bicycle!!!!!!
I did have a job after school and on Saturdays.... trying to save $500.... which got you into a pretty nice 5-6 year old Chevy in 1961-62.
Things CHANGE!
Regards,
Alan
