Need Help... '68 only color Brit Green vs 'Vette Bronze pics?
I'm trying to decide between British Racing Green or Corvette Bronze since they are the only two '68 only colors (that i know of)... any opinions maybe pictures? I know pics are hard to capture the true essence of a color, maybe some of you guys have seen these in person? I never have... thanks!

Hi m,
Here's a picture of the Corvette Bronze used for 1970.
I don't know how much different the 68 color was.
This is quite an unusual color, and today seems to attract some attention. It looks very different indoors and out of doors and also changes as the light changes.
The British Green is a great color too!
Regards,
Alan

Here's a pic of 1968 Corvette Bronze car. This was captured in very bright sunlight. Like Alan said, this color seems to change hue as the light changes. The 1970 color would exhibit more of this trait, as the '70 Bronze was a "Firemist" color, and the '68 Bronze was not. You could also find Camaro's in Corvette Bronze in 1968.
British Racing Green is also a great color. Tough decision...

Here's a Bronze '68; it looks more orange in these pictures, but is definitely a bronze color (don't know if this is exactly an original formuation):

They are both great colors. If you like them both equally the trim tag would be the deciding factor. What color was your car from the factory?

Two of my most favorite Corvette colors.
In '99 I passed on a '72 LT-1 in bronze. Guy was asking 24,000. I thought it was too high. Bought a '74 911S about 4 months later.

Hi jr9170,
Sorry, just those 2.
The car was at the NCRS Delaware Valley Chapter meet.
It almost had a raspberry hue to it under those lights.

Alan

I have a very good friend with a '68 in the bronze for that year. She happens to be the original owner who's father bought the car for her before she could actually drive. Anyways, the car looks beautiful in the sun and you seem to catch yourself staring at it. Can't beat a color that you don't see that often.
