Default 1978 Corvette Indy Pace Car L82 4 speed

I purchased a 78 Pace car L82 4 speed with 17 original miles. The car came with no paper work and I really do not want to disturb the car and drop the tank. Any help where I can get who the original selling dealer was so I can start looking for the history on the car.

It will look like this (hopefully the dealer is still in business and kept ownership records to share):

If Allied-Vaughn has your VIN in their records (microfiche), you'll be in business.

Last five of the vin is 02676. The keys have a tag on them that reads Carl Buddig lean beef Holland IL 60473.

Interesting...probably an early April build date. What are you plans for it? I picked up the Vaugn dealer invoice my Pacer (2324) and you'll get just about everything you'll want to know except broadcast codes.

Right now I have no plans for it. The car has been in my possesion for 6 months and its a great conversation piece.
