Default My Vette's finally painted!...pics
Took all night to do it, but my 77 finally got its new paint. The prep work was tedious, but I think the results are awesome. I stripped it to the fiberglass myself, then the body work, straightening and paint was done by Anthony Wells at NuVintage Corvettes here in North Alabama. There's nothing like fresh paint...enjoy!!









Fresh clear coat.



Jim Durham and myself laid out the La Mans hash marks pretty much by eyeballing it. There is a silver pin stripe outlining each hash mark.



We smoothed the door jams for a nice clean look.



And here's the frame its going on.

The attention to detail on this build by Jim and Anthony at NuVintage has been outstanding. I've had this car since 2000, but when I get it back from this build it will be a totally new and different car.

Things should move quickly now and I hope to have her on the road by mid spring.
