Default Bubba stopped by today...radio delete plate

So eventually I likely will put a stereo in and couldnt justify the 200 - 800 for a plate, so here is some Bubba action....

yeah that is next, clean up and respray....also will adjust plate as I have some leeway, wiggle room when bolting it down

Thanks...but thats not all...I pebble grained it up to match the bezel...

Used hammertone copper paint as a base....followed by flat black

Not quite sure what's so bubba about that. Looks pretty damn good to me...

"Butt connectors" made out of a couple pieces of gardening tape is more bubba IMO.

You'll be OK as long as some of the NCRS folks don't see it. it looks great and it's better than the hole I had in mine last summer. I filled it in with a new radio this winter.

yeah, I probably will throw a stereo in...a week after it is on the road haha, but this will work for now and doesnt look totally hacked, thanks for the compliment

I see more craftmanship than bubbaship. A true bubba would have used duct tape over the opening. And then wrote CORVETTE on it with a permanent marker.

Your method looks like a skilled craftsman approached it.
