Just finished plasti dipping my entire 79
Got real tired of driving around my blue and for 200 dollars it seems so far like it was worth it!
I'm pretty happy with how it came out, still have some touching up to do here and there, but here's some pictures

Curious what it looks like out in day light ,,, The pics you have here makes it look like you need a heavy finish coat

Can anyone tell me what the throttle return spring is attached to?
And to stay somewhat on topic... yeah... I would have stuck with white. Nice effort though. Probably doesn't help that I got over the matte fad before it started.

Ah yes, I recently put a different thermostat housing on that had a different angle so my hose didn't quite reach. Definitely on the list of things to fix, so calm your **** the world won't end for it.
Why matte black instead of white? I think I already said this. I like it.
And I'll be sure to get some pictures in daylight with a decent camera. These phone pictures really don't do it justice. It came out very solid dark black.

People seen a problem in your picture and pointed it out to help you, sure sounds like a bad attitude in your response

Yeah overall the original paint looked okay till you got up close, its got gouges and scratches in it everywhere and the bumpers suffered a light wreck which cracked up the paint real bad. The plasti dip really smoothed the cracks out though

I've looked into PlastiDip. My paint is NOT in good shape and I've thought that I could go the 'matte' direction just to put off painting my car for a year or two. I was thinking red, though. My car is currently black.
So, on one hand I'm not 100% certain I would do PlastiDip on a car that is otherwise pretty and shiny.
On the other hand...it IS baby blue...
Looks pretty good. Would look meaner if it were lowered. Some attitude to go with the matte paint.
