Hi,
I'm not sure why, or how, but I switched to the 'new' version of Photobucket and I still have the 4 link options under EACH picture like the 'old' photobucket had.
Maybe someone needs to ask a help question on the PB site to clarify the possibilities.
Regards,
Alan

I also use the new setup but in the drop down the 4 bars are blacked out?
But if I click on the lower [img] one it still copies. I have tried several options but it is still blacked out?

This is the "shortcut" that can be used so you do not have to click on every single picture. It makes it easier when you are adding multiple pictures to a post.
Once you click on "get links" it pulls up all the links with your library still in the background. Just "x" out the box to get back to your library.

Steve, you took the literal meaning of the word "screenshot" and is that AOL?
If you don't want to click on each picture, you can also hover over the picture you want until the little gear comes up, hover over the gear and you'll see a link for "get links." This will also get you to the picture codes.
I would take a screenshot, but I left my camera in the garage.

On another note hit the "shift" and "print Screen" keys, then paste to a photo editing program instead of taking pics of your monitor. Just another tip.

If you go into your album settings you can enable "Easy Linking Mode" which will enable you to click the link from the album page instead of clicking the gear icon or on the image itself.........much easier to work with.

I made the switch. Photobucket worked well for one day on the new. Since that time, it will not remember my user name and password, it will not show me my entire album; when I scroll, Photobucket locks up and becomes unresponsive. Repeated attempts to reach Support at Photobucket only results in receipt of useless generic automated email messages.
I have used Photobucket for a very long time with no actual problems and no real complaints, but the new version is not working for me.
If Photobucket does not improve things soon, I will make the move to Flickr.

I used PB for a long time , many years issue free. I guess my 10 year old "PC" was just not up to the task. Matter fact , it was slow on all sites , and a continuous pain the rear to keep virus and spy wear out of. It got to the point I was spending more time cleaning it and worrying about malwear than enjoying the thing. Not to mention all the trips to the computer store to have it cleaned was adding up money wise
SO ...it was way past time for a new computer ....we are an older couple ....and not computer geeks ....but we bit the bullet and bought an IMac APPLE . I was hesitant at first, as it took me 12 years to learn PC very well. As the weeks and months pass I'm getting the hang of APPLE and finding it might be the superior computer.
It seems to work nice with photobucket and I have zero maintenance to deal with and everything moves so much quicker .
It is taking so time to relearn , but maybe I'm not as backwards as I supposed
