Default Emission Sticker 3940925

I am trying to find a picture or informtion on what the verbage and codes were for on the special emission sticker for the 1968 BB with A/C. The origional stickers were replaced by a Service News Letter Feb. 1968 to #3940925. It has very important information about idle tuning for the BB's with A/C.

Do you know what letter/letters you're looking for?
Have you checked the NCRS Judging Guide?
Have you checked the 68 AIM?
Have you checked Dr. Dobbins' book?

I can try to find it later this evening, but it would help to narrow down the hunt a bit.

Mike
You can find the sticker referenced in the new NCRS 1968-1969 Tech Info and Judging Guide about 20 sheets from the back (its not numbered). The reference is in that Feb 1968 Chevrolet Service News, Pages 5 and 7. the title of the article is Tune-up Specification Change. I looked in Dobbins and 69 Bizzoco. I could have missed something, I did see the SB emmision sticker he used for a example, no help. I put a post here and NCRS. I left EMails with all the 68 BB A/C owners I could find in the Corvette registry. The AIM page 0, B1 does list the sticker as item # 6, 3927740 (a charted part) on the radiator and then moving it to the firewall position on on Jan 16 1968. As a charted part, that could be where our answer is, I don't have that chart referenced either. I can place the location change date by an orgional GM AIM I have. It has more data than the reproduction AIMs on the market. It has some neat info., sometimes. I also talked to Dave @ Jim Osburn Productions, no luck, and to Chevrolet and the Corvette Mueium, no luck there either.
Thanks for your help
Dale

CHART usually references a printed list which was available to assembly line staff but which does not appear in the AIM. Interior parts involving specific colors is an example where CHART gets used to excess.
