Did you nag them about proper ways to do it or just let them do their thing? Any clue if the installer had done vettes before? Doing a restoration and the glass is coming out. Hopefully it doesn't break but I've heard it usually does and may just pony up the $ for a warranty/national company to install for me... as long as they do it right!

I need a new one also. I am worried that the installer will not know what they are doing! I am also worried that my frame will fall apart!!! Looks great!

Glassmasters here. Glass is an off brand, probably not suitable as "restoration" replacement, but is optically correct throughout without the waves and distortions sometimes seen in replacement stuff. $271 installed in my back yard. I believe this is a National chain.

Awesome, there's a Guardian about 20 minutes from me! MrJlr did you have to nag them about doing it properly, ie spacing and etc, or did you just let them do their thing once you had everything prepped? When you were getting quotes did you explain it was a corvette and ask for someone to come who's maybe done one before? Thanks!

I just asked on the phone if they had experience with older cars and vettes....they said their guy had been doing it 30 years.
When he got to my house I let him work. Although I did take pix....he knew what he was doing....really nice guy too......
