Default need some color choice advice

Hey guys, I'm almost to the point of choosing some colors for my engine bay, motor, tins

I'm sure I'm going to paint the car "Malibu Sunset Orange" from Eastwood. this is almost identical to the new 'Vette's "atomic orange".

I am thinking of doing the engine bay the same color as the exterior, doing the valve covers, and air cleaner the body color, and the entire block/intake/oil pan/heads in silver.

I'm just trying to get a nice balance of orange/silver/satin black.

I'm also toying with doing the engine bay satin black, the block, intake and heads orange and the tins satin black.

man, the choices are overwhelming.

please tell me what you think and/or if you have any other combinations in mind.

thanks

I'm still getting over the fact someone actually spelled "advice" correctly.

If your looking for a budget paint, Kirker has an "Atomic Orange". I have a paint chip chart for their paint, but can't verify how close it matches the factory color.

I'm leaning towards orange exterior myself, but went with a matte black engine bay because I think it'll be easier to touch up and not show all the gunk that is bound to build up. I kept most of the engine black, but with just a splash of color with Chevy Orange high temp paint on the intake. The black doesn't look too good now because of all the dust, but should look better when it gets cleaned up.

I debated the same issue, ended up going with Rustolem satin black rattle can. Thought it turned out pretty good.

Very, very nice. I'll be doing my engine bay later this year. I'm going to do exactly what you did. Thanks for the pics.
