Has anyone seen tops made like this??
I have been looking for acrylic tops for my '74. I had pretty much decided I was going to buy the one piece from astro tops since I can pick those up locally.
Cruising Craigslist yesterday and I come across a listing for 68 to 77 smoked lexan tops....I immediately called the gentleman and we arranged to meet on I-40 yesterday evening....
These tops appear to be hand made perhaps.....no info written on them....they do have weather stripping and attach via a bolt in front latch hole and a moveable plastic black tab in the rear....
Just curious if someone has seen these....I googled and searched but have not found anything close......Here are some pics....

Interesting, never saw those before. Looks like they bolt on. One things for certain, the black wheels on that car look great.

Yes they were very cool I had a set on a 69 Custom I built in 73 or 74 dont remember who I got them from. I think they cost me about $400 back then and that was a lot a bucks

They are called Saratoga tops. I have owned several sets. The last set I sold had the original box and instructions. I still have some sales brochures. They look great, are light, and give you more head room. They were made by Ferrigan & O'Brien, Inc.

I Googled Saratoga and that is exactly what I have. I knew someone would know the story on these. Glad to see I found something still relevant from the old days.....Thanks again!!!

Never heard of saratoga tops before but very similar to my Thompson Tops. I originally had the 2 pc Thompson Tops but they fit terrible so I got the 1 pc and have had mine on since 94, love em, specially the extra head room.
