It has everything I like about the c-6 with just a hint of the c-3 sexy curves. If the fenders had just a little more curve Id be in love with it.
As is if I had the means I'd be buying one.

1. I havent a clue why the 76 vs the 77 was not the last Stingray..as a previous poster mentioned its identical to a 76, now changing the name in 78 would make more sense, back hatch glass, square gauges, different seats etc.
2. So they made the 1st Corvette to have a sail panel window like a Nissan GTR :-( the roof and beltline along the windows looks really close that Kia SUV with the singing rats, or again a GTR. (BTW I hate the GTR styling/sound, fast kinda, Ugly..YES)
3. The terrible looking gauges and control cluster, this thing looks like a 90 C4 had a baby with a new Camaro. The shifter is cheap looking Camaro as well as the steering wheel that cannot decide if its a box, circle, or octagon.
4. Front end looks ok, the sides look like a Ferrari California and the back end reminds me of what the next generation Firebird or Trans-AM might have been.
5. Carbon Fiber, great material but after they use it on planes they PAINT THE CRAP! I dont want a high end car with a fast n furious Autozone Lee Press On Parts interior panel.

I have owned many Vettes, and I am certain this one will perform well, styled well??? Someone needs their head examined at GM. I have a 77 496 resto mod, and a C6 Z51 presently. Owned C4's in the past, Never owned a C5 due to the very plastic and again Honda NSX inspired styling by the designer.

I was STOKED when the C6 design came out. This one... well lets hope in a few years they clean it up.

Well I just looked it over and I think it looks like a Mazda 8, I hate the rear lights and just the whole rear all together. It sure looks like they have cheapened the car up with a bunch of silly add on pieces. The C6 looked much better, an now the C6 will be cheaper to buy. I guess I'll just keep making my C3 better and keep showing up all the new one that pull up beside me anyway.

I wonder what we could come up with if we took the money we'd spend on a C7 and put it into upgrades for our C3's. So with $60K + what would you do?

You'll have to make your C3 a lot better if you think you're going to outrun a stock C5, 6 or 7.

There may never be a "last" Stingray.... but there will only ever be one "first" Stingray...1969!

for me, the only Stingray is the C2 gen. I prefer refering to the C3 as the "Mako Shark II", but the only Stingray for me is the C2.

One of my coworkers, clearly not versed in Corvettes, approached me awhile back to talk about a car he was considering purchasing. He told me "it's a '76, but it's not a Stingray". I tried to explain this whole Stingray moniker thing to him and how he may be mistaken, but he just didn't seem to understand. At that point, I realized that emblem means a whole lot more to non-Vette people than it does to me.

Sure it's still cool when the kids point a say "Wow, a Stingray!", but I'd much rather be sporting ZR1 badges and nobody giving me a second look.

Fine, but you could at least spell it as 2 words, "Sting Ray" because there was no "Stingray" until the 1969 model year.
