You need to add the resistors to the order to prevent that

Why not just get the electronic flasher rather than the resistor?
I did all this awhile back on an old Goldwing and it came out great; my project is going to get the same treatment when it's time!

Corvette Mods, just bought a set for my 1971 Vette! Will the original/stock fiber optic indications function properly with this set installed? Also, do you guys have any stickers or business cards I can bring along to car shows? I'd imagine all the other C3 guys are going to be wanting these....

I'd like to order some tails. I have a 75 with these tails. Which option would i choose to keep the white reverse lights. Basically just want whats on there, only newer as mine are cracking and falling apart.

Order the same style as you have now, order all red with the reverse led plate. Both options are very easy to implement. Happy New Year!

I, too, have the same style for my '75. My question is...once the net set up is installed (all reds with the backup lights on the license frame) will the turn indicator and emergency flashers work normally? AND if there are any mods, what would they be and how do you it?

so these can't be fitted with LEDs?

http://www.corvettemods.com/1974-197...ts_p_7525.html

I like have the reverse built-in and am not a big fan of the reverse license plate. I think there'd be alot of people that would prefer the look they already have. I'm sure its easy to install the plate light.

Whats the challenge with having reverse built-in to the led tails? Genuinely curios.

yes, but these assemblies weren't designed for LED bulbs that are directionally firing lights. You will get poor light output from them

Do the LED tail lights require a different flasher for the turn signals to function properly?

You can add our resistors, that will solve that issue.

I would really like to add LED's to my 76 but adding resistors and having to use a license plate surround is really keeping me from doing this. Are there plans to add the backup lights to the stock location and if I don't want to mess with the resistors (I know little to nothing about wiring), will adding the aforementioned digital flasher work instead of the resistors? probably dumb and or redundant questions but here we are
