1969 tilt column
I just finished restoring my tilt telescopic steering column and would like to see a picture of where the shift interlock sticker goes, I have found pics of this on non tilt wheels, any ideas? Thanks David

The only thing that I can add is that the sticker was not placed on the steering column at Saginaw. The early 1969 T&T steering column assembly drawing 7804347 has the shift bowl (aka the bell) that rotates and it is exposed but there is no sticker.
The interim 1969 T&T strg column 7807828 released 10/17/68 has the plastic cover over the shift bowl. So, the sticker was no longer needed. BTW, the release date of Oct 1968 does not mean that it went into production on that date. The actual start of production date could be many months later depending upon appropriations, tooling lead time, customer dictated timing, etc. If a change was critical or safety related it was possible that parts could be in production even before the actual drawing change date (this would be quite rare).
