My wife surprised me with a trip to a local car show on Saturday. Was a little warm out, but we had fun wandering around together. About 200 cars or so - 4 of which were C3 models. Lots of C4 - C6 cars there, and a couple of C2 - C3 models as well. Thought I'd share a couple of photos.

And I know this isn't a C3, but it's not often you see a '66 427 car, let alone one this nice. (corrected - thanks guys!)





And one I have to share just out of appreciation for a paint job of mind blowing quality. This photo does not do it justice.

I was going to hit Pavilions at Indian Bend/101 but didn't want to head out without knowing anyone.

Hey CQRT,

It was in Goodyear at the baseball park. Was a nice show and very organized. They were an hour early with the judging results. The Pavilions show is always a good time. Very nice cars and a good turnout every weekend.

Those are the best car shows, you get to see the beautiful results of the time, money and effort that we car nuts put in.

I don't doubt I got that mixed up. I was pretty sure the sign said '67, but we looked at a lot of cars that day

No problem. We do appreciate the pics! I drove a 1967 for five years and did notice the wrong label. But what the heck...Great photos.

After much restoration ($$$s) I sold that car in 2008 when the recession hit.

D.C. has been pretty good... Went home last weekend (CDay weekend) but promised I wouldn't work on the vette since it was my first weekend home... I did pull the cover off and looked at how the primer was looking after a couple of months... Looks ready to guide and sand...

I'm shooting for Vet's Day, T-giving and Christmas as my next 3 visits... Plan is to finish some body work, guide coat, and re-prime before coming back in January...
