Default 5 inch glasstek highrise does it block a lot of your vission for driving

I would like to put a 5 inch glasstek highrise hood on my 78 vette.I would like to know if someone on the forum has one and does it block your vission for driving.

i dont have a glasstek but i do have a rather large scoop. and yep it does block the view a good bit. it definitely takes some getting used to.

I have an l-88 style on my 75. Not sure how tall it is, maybe 4"? But, yes it does take getting used to. Mainly due to the fact that you can't see the passenger fender. Hasn't caused any problems though.

Full front vision is over rated ...

I have an L88 style hood, no real problems.

Think how cool it will look to everyone else !

Maybe backing up is the way to go. Look how good Tow Mater did and he just used his mirrors!
