up date
Last week was a good week. The car went to the body guy to be sanded , the hood and front end to be leveled up. The district manager of a local parts store, O'Rileys has donated all the parts from hoses, belts, fluilds, tune up stuff that we will need to service car completely, and a set of aluminum slot corvette wheels with the orig. center caps were donated. The wheels are in excellent shape after being in storage and boxed up for over 30 years. Thanks Dan C for the wheels. We are planning a car care day with 2 other clubs on July 13th to raise some funds and on July 27 th a huge yard sale with donations as well. I would say in a few more months we will have this project off 3rd base and headed towards home plate. Thanks everyone for the support and encouragement.

I have a small box of C3 odds and ends that you are welcome to have. Some things you may be able to use, others you can sell/trade. No charge to you. All I need is an address to ship to.

So sorry to hear about your daddy. I was Daddy's girl and it is so hard to lose them. The guys on this post are very knowledgable and will give you advice you can trust. I'm looking for my first C3 and the guys here have been great to me. I'm also hoping I can do some of the restoration work myself and with my husband (a Mustang guy, with a new GT, soon to buy a Shelby) who has also never done this kind of work on a car. Maybe a car mechanic course at the local college? Hmmm. Good luck!
