I checked with Caltrans yesterday, and here's the low-down..............
The Northbound 405 to the 101 connector, is scheduled to be closed 10/07/2012 in the early morning hours for maintenance.

I hate to ask this question, let alone brng it up, but based on the news hipe and BS, do we need to be concerned (notice I didn't say painc) with gas availabilty?
The news media is making it out like SOCAL is running out gas!
Provided I don't jump in this thing, I should be able to make whole trip on 1 tank of fuel. It'll be close.

Well.....i've always been one that leaned towards topless .....Wow, just checked out the weather..... VERY nice.... Looking like Oxnan and I are going topless to....well, almost...we got t-tops...
ok.... guess ive been living under a rock to long out here in the desert.... are you guys running out of gas in LA? ..... Edit...wow again... went and watched the local news.... its official, i have been living under a rock!!! what the heck!!! Im still not going to buy a preas!!!!
love me RBC3's 22 (i think) gallon gas tank.... I did not realize that the older C3's had such a small tank until our first Solvang trip... on the way back a few of you were a bit......worried?!?!? but we all made it!

West exit turn right

Turn right on Upper Big Tujunga 9 miles
Turn left on Angeles Crest Hwy. 7 miles
Arrive at Newcomb's Ranch on left.
Alternate directions from Sunland
From Sunland:
Take Lower Tujunga
Go up Mountain at Angeles Forest Hwy, make a right
When you get to Angeles Crest Hwy make a left and go all the way to Newcombs Ranch
From Palmdale
Take Sierra Hwy or CA-14 SOUTH

Well... thank you everyone for an amazing day!!!!! I counted a total of 18 C3 corvettes at the show!!!! coming and going.... met some new C3'r at the show and introduced them to the forum... so, we have a few new members for our future runs!!!
on the run we had 7 that went... NewCombs was great... drive was great.... and the people were amazing!!!!

If you missed this run, here are some we sort of planned over lunch today..... tentative, but sound great!!!....
