Horn Relay 69 vet
G'day guys
i recently notied that there was a red wire with a black connecter on the end, close to the horn relay it looks like it's come off from there but before i connect it i need to know whats it for.
you can see in the 2nd photo the lug on the relay.
any advice

Try enlarging the horn relay area on this picture. There is a 12VDC positive bus on the relay where a number of wires attach. If yours is a large red wire, then it must attach there. There is no where else it would go. The only other positive in that area is the main output of the alternator.

Have you tried researching it on a wiring diagram? I don't have one for your year, but I'd bet it would answer your question.

The picks are unclear so i will retake them tonight and repost
the wire in question has a connector on the end.
the Lug on the horn relay is behind the 2 large orange wires on the RIGHT in photo 1

Second thing I did to my Vette after buying it was disconnect that wire to silence the annoying buzzer when the key is in the ignition. The first thing was disabling the neutral safety switch.
