2012 Mystic Lake Casino Corvette Show, Shakopee MN
Here's some pictures of this weekends show. I attended only Saturday and a beautiful day it was. Sorry, no pictures of anything other than C3's ('cept two C2 pics).
First, a few of my own 1971 coupe:
Now the rest of the C3's:
Now for my most controversial paint job pics, I think the two that were there that were painted opposite of each other, looked like fiberglass boat colors. But maybe that's just me:

Wow, that was the largest group of C3 corvettes I've seen of late. Yours looks really nice too. Regarding the C2, yeah custom paint is beauty in the eye of the beholder. It may look nicer in real life, may not. Either way, the owner probably likes it and its all that counts.

Awesome collection of Vettes! I noticed in the 5th picture - a red chrome bumper coupe w/ the Indy style spoiler, the fender vents are blank - like a 73. Any idea what year that is? Never saw a 68-72 w/o Gilles and egg rate. Thanks for posting so many great photos!

Great catch. That car I saw the first year I went to the show, 2010, and it was my favorite car. This year, the guy I parked next to and I were talking about it and that '73 opening. The car is a '72, and what the guy I was talking with said he heard is that it was a very late '72 and that it came that way from the factory, with a '73 opening. I find that hard to believe as I don't think the front part of that where the bumpers would be, would match up without some big modifications.
