Default More throaty sound!

Guys -

Looking for some suggestions; I have a stock 350 4sp. Any suggestions on mufflers that could give me a more throaty - louder - rumble sound while keeping the standard looking mufflers from behind and underneath.

Do not want raspy sounds - looking for deep rumble? Hard to explain.
Thanks

Hi MS,
You may want to check out a welded stock exhaust system from Corvette Central.
There is an option of having 'off-road' mufflers. These are stock appearing mufflers that have fewer baffles in them. Thus they give a louder sound.
The 'off-road service' exhaust was option N11 when it was offered in 68.
These will give the "standard looking exhaust from behind and underneath".
Regards,
Alan

Might also want to look at chambered exhausts.

If I am not worried about interior cabin noise - Still the flowmaster 44 for rumble and tones

Flowmasters to me are a dead giveaway for not being stock. they look nothing like stock, but I LOVE the sound.

Two very good examples. A rambunctious cop in some cities would ticket the first one but maybe not the second. Some cops and some cities are really tough on modified exhaust. Been there done that.

Go to You Tube, type in Flowmaster, you find a vid with a guy trying all the flow master mufflers on the same engine so you can hear the difference.
