Default 1972 Windshield Washer Question

I just bought this 1972 that I am going to cut up for parts for my car. I found this washer bag on the drivers side cowl with the hanging clips on the cowl. It would be behind the vacuum tank. Is this a normal thing? All my other '72's had them on the R.H. side and were plastic with a long neck. This was a real late build '72 (July 400 from the end) Thanks for any help! Tim

Let me guess…Your other 72s didn’t have AC and this car does.

Reproductions have a short neck, and are almost impossible to get the cap on, and off. Original bags are very desirable, and if it's in good shape, you should be able to sell it fairly easy. If you don't need it, I would put it up for sale for around $50.

Hi D72,
Also, in your second picture there's a metal tube in the lower right corner of the picture.
If this tube is complete and runs across the firewall to the area of the wiper door actuator.... it's valuable too. They're not being reproduced.
Even that little clip on the tube would bring a few dollars!
Regards,
Alan

A/C cars had the bag on the driver side, Non-A/C had the tank on the pass. side.
(If you ever come across one of those long necks for the tank I'm still looking)

Thanks for all the help. Cecil, It won't be for long. My other car is an A/C car. I guess the bag went missing. I am going to rob some parts and sell it as a project. The front clip is garbage!! Extra nice frame though. I have 3 of the vacuum tube lines sitting on the shelf. Thanks again gang, I learned something today!
