Default Best place for parts

So I'm in the process of getting a 70 corvette convertible running, and I need to get some parts for the car. The shop says I need new calipers as well as the crome around the ignition. I also know I will need a new soft top, as well as some interior trim, and a factory radio. I live in Vancouver BC, but have a US shipping address. Some guideance would be appreciated.

I will add some pictures tomorrow of the engine bay.

You can try and rebuild your calipers if you want, if you get new ones, I went with Corvettes of Houston. Great price and great service.
Check out the vendors list on this forum. Plenty of good ones to choose from. Wilcox, Ecklers, Corvette of America, Zip, just to name a few.

Good luck w/ the car.

Is the left sidebar of this web page with all the Corvette parts vendors who sponsor THIS forum visible on Canadian computer monitors??? If so, they would be a place to start looking for what you need.

I use Willcox almost exclusively. Quality and customer service are excellent! Willcox is also on the forum a lot so they can answer any questions.

Hi Andrew,
70 convertible... NICE!
I'll recommend Willcox, Paragon, ZIP, and Corvette Central.
Many of the vendors sell parts that othe vendors do too. So you need to know just what you're buying, who actually makes it, and what the quality is, to know if you're getting a good deal or not.
Comparative Shopping!
Regards,
Alan

Ikerd's, Van Steel and many other places have calipers. I don't know what "chrome around the ignition" is. Al Knoch is the choice for a top and interior pieces. You will likely have to check ebay or swap meets for a factory radio.

Duh. I was thinking of the ignition switch. I need more coffee.

I've bought a few stock radios, some at swaps, some on ebay and one from a Forum member.
