Default Rear spring/Insurance

Evening, two question tonight
1. restoring my 74 vette, is the 9 leaf spring much stiffer than the 7 leaf?
I put 275-60-15 on the back and don't want the tires to rub on the body, Is there any lift or just won't let the car go down as easy

I have Hagerty insurance on the car, anyone deal with them?
Thanks
Mark H
P.S. Love this form

IIRC the 9 leaf (with lotsa curve) is the "standard" spring, and the
F41 "heavy duty" spring (almost flat) is the 7 leaf spring.

The 9 leafs give a better ride. It's the standard rear spring. The 7 leafs is what they called the gymkana suspension. A lot more stiff. I have the 9 leafs with 255's on a set of wheels that have more offset than factory and never had any rubbing problems.
