Hello all! I have been looking at this forum for a few days now and really like what I see and hear, so I have decided to join. I have a question that may have been asked already, but I haven't seen it. What do you guys think about the points eliminator kits? Has anyone installed them?

Many, many threads on the points eliminator kits. The most popular seems to be made by Pertronix. The unit fits inside your existing distributor and is not very hard to install. It does not give you a hotter spark than the points, that is a function of the coil. So you can spend money and get rid of your points, or you can not spend money and adjust your point once in awhile.
