Default Help identifying brackets please

I've been going through bins and boxes pulling out and cleaning parts for my 68 vert since it'll be back from the body shop soon. I found these brackets and can't figure out what they are and where they go. I'm hoping someone here can help me ID them. They are left and right brackets and are painted the body color on the inside. Thanks in advance for any help.

Not sure. The car was disassembled when I bought it. Makes sense though. Guess I should've looked at my AIM. Just didn't know where to look. Thanks

They look like the seat belt brackets to me as well. I just had mine out replacing the belts.

Maybe they are the water diverters that are located at the bottom of the doors on the door jam itself.

Hi S,
I believe they're outer seat belt guides.
I see the parts in the Paragon Catalogue listed as Seat Belt Guides.
There's a drawing indicating their placement if you don't have the 68 AIM.
Look at part #s 2321 & 2322.
You'll probably know they're in the right place when you see the 3 holes through the underbody for the bolts/screws.
Regards,
Alan

I have the 68 AIM, but it doesn't show them very clearly. It looks as though there's a part that goes on top. I can see different part numbers and I definitely don't have them. I'll check the Paragon site and look at the diagram anyway. Thanks to everyone who responded.

Mine is a 69 but yes they go on top under the carpet right in the corner. It covers the seat belt that runs under it. You will see the 3 bolt holes for them.

Yes, that's exactly what they are. I found them in the AIM that I have and see how they bolt in. The one's on the Paragon site are different in that they have nuts welded to the bracket where mine have none. Aside from that, the GM part numbers are also different. Now I have to find the bracket that goes on top as my AIM shows another bracket on top. Thanks everyone. You guys are the best.

Looks like it. For 68, they install under the carpet.

On my 69 there is no other bracket, but since you have a 68 vert it maybe different.

I believe that part #2321 and #2322 are the brackets that are under the car that hold the bolts that hold the inside brackets. Lou.
