Default Rear end in motion.. Short Video

Found a cool spot to mount my GoPro HD2 under my car to get a close up look at the rear end action.... Well here is a short video of a cruise around the block to see how it looked...

Very cool!! I really only have two things to say besides that.

#1.) C'mon, you could have gotten on it a little, maybe a little tire smoke, not a horror show burnout, just a little bit. It would be sooooo cool!!!!

#2.) Socks and sandals. Really? C'mon, seriously? You drive a Corvette, for cryin' out loud!!!

Alright! I'll be waiting to see that!

Ya know, it would probably be a giant PITA to do, but some lighting would really increase the quality of the video, just something to think about. If you can come up with an easy way to do it, maybe give it a try, eh?

As far as the socks and sandals go, you know I'm just poking fun, right? I actually drove my 'vette over to my brother's house wearing slippers, pajama bottoms, and a bathrobe, once!!!! (I was in a hurry, it was something of a minor family emergency) On the way there, I decided that if I got pulled over, I would tell the cop I was sleep driving!!!

I think the nice, solid mounting is a big part of what makes it such a good video.

That camera is a sweet piece! Teach it to change the oil and wash/wax the car and you've got it made!

Should be some great video you capture during the course of the year. We'll look forward to getting an eyeful and Thanks for sharing!

It sounds like this is something you are really going to be taking seriously, so I would just like to re-iterate that good lighting really makes a big difference in video quality, especially underneath the car or inside the engine compartment. Get some video of the suspension and engine being worked out on the track, and some of your feet working the pedals, hand working the shifter, and of you being wipped back and forth by g-forces, etc., and you could splice it all together for a pretty exiting video! Just don't back the whole thing with music, we are car guys, and we want to hear that engine winding out!!! And don't just drive it like you stole it; drive it like you stole it, and the cops are chasing you!!!
