Default Project update pictures

Cutting and moking up the new floor in the rear. Never seen anyone ever tubbed a C3 this far and make the soft top functional. Mostly they skip the sofftop.

Wheel clearence front

First lettering came from machine shop

Jeff put the body on the chassis.. gives nice pictures of what it will be

Big tyres from behind

New designs of the left and right touchscreen in the gauges.

First off, Damn I wish I was building something as bad azz as this, this car is going to be stunning.
Is the rear deck being made out of aluminum, or maybe carbon fiber? Is this the finial stance of the car?
I think the nose could come up a bit so the front tire won't destroy the fender when it was to bottom
out when you would least expect it, but I am sure that the design, fitments and execution will be
top notch from a shop like this one.

That chassis looks perfect but I'd be afraid to even ask what that runs for Most likely out of DIY's budgets

its covered but with real carbon fiber.. actually super thin .4mm composite carbon fiber.. same as will come on the rest of the body parts.

No parts will be completely made out of carbon fiber but no parts wil be wrapped with vinyl.. only covered with real carbon.

both thx man.. is realy nice to hear allmost everybody like the car.. offcourse i will do my own thing, but it is very cool to hear people appreciate a lot of it. Even on a real corvette forum where - thats normal - there are a lot of people looking critical what guys do with the looks and dont mess with the corvette basics..

Jeff, me and tavis highlander trying to rethink of every part to be the good mix of desires, ideas and what fits in the car to still have it look like a real regonizable C3

ask Jeff from heartland.. he developped his own specvette chassis

http://www.heartlandcustoms.us/SPECVette_Chassis.php

thats a chassis thats even one step step further than mine, so even more top of the bill

Mine is a streetshop chasis.. http://www.streetshopinc.com/ also one of the best custom chasis' in the world.. available for C1, C2 and C3 cars.. and available for smaller and large budgets

Great job on the Menace so far. I am using the exact same chassis with Z06 wheels for my 69 convertible resto mod. I am at the same point where I am cutting out the back cubby area to fit the frame and large wheels. Did you find out if the convertible top will fit with the wheel tubs? I did some measurements with the top in place today and it looks real close. Please let me know.
Thanks
Evan Q.
