Plus the goal of the car was to teach me how to work on a vehicle. Usually if it isn't broke I wouldn't attempt to work on it....so luckily almost EVERYTHING needs work on this car. So by the end I should have a pretty decent all around knowledge cars.
Looks like a 69 to me. They didn't make LT-1s till 1970. Still a good buy for $6000.

NOM engine. 69 w/ 70's LT-1 good eye
Probably closer to $7k once travel costs, and title/registration was taken care of. It's still in pretty bad shape but I'm liking it so far.

its funny, everyone is telling me to get rid of the fake pipes. But to me, it captures the 70s corvette look. yours looks great.

I personally would keep them. They're already on the car and even if they're not functional, you can't beat the look.

Not much difference from the stock 69 pipes.. you just have 3 extra phony input pipes per side.. If they sound good and look good, leave them
